***I spent several hours trying to load this into teacher tube with no success, so I just uploaded it into my blog.

  2. Carisa, I loved your storyboard! I think that exposing young children to poetry can have such an impact. I think it gives students the opportunity to decide what they think literature means and what they themselves get out of it. I also think it is a fantastic idea to allow them to make their own illustrations so they can express the meaning they found in the poem they chose. A project like this would give students independence yet give a place to start from. Great idea!

  3. That is a very, very cute poem you chose. I can tell you really put time and effort into this. If you did that narration in one try, then you're my hero!

    I just wish the video didn't cut off your words. Maybe it is just what I'm using?

  4. Beautiful illustrations Carisa! I was really impressed by the simplicity of the way you put this together, and thought that it greatly contributed to the feeling of the overall poem. It was a pleasure to watch. Excellent job!
